Author Biography

Judith Schossböck, Centre for E-Governance, Danube University Krems

Judith Schossböck is a research fellow at the Centre for E-Governance at Danube University Krems (Austria), a PhD candidate at the Department of Media and Communication at City University Hong Kong, and managing editor of the open access eJournal JeDEM (jedem.org). Among her research interests are online participation and activism, open government, data cultures and the social aspects of ICTs. She is also scientific co-director of paraflows.at, a symposium for digital arts and culture in Vienna. At Danube University she was involved in projects about the internet skills of youth, an European e-participation platform and electronic identification. She won a scholarship from the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong (HK PhD Fellowship Award).
